We have received an offer from a couple of other parties to join them. The logic is that our nation has the Republican Party as the 6th largest party and it is growing, so the small parties should join up to take the 6th position so the Republicans don't have a chance to suddenly become 5th and put forth Congressional candidates. The reason people are afraid of the Republicans is because Pizza the Hut, someone known for trying to take power of any country by any means basically directs them.
I have two problems with this. The first is that creating parties simply for "the greater good" strikes me as boring as hell and produces more populated but more apathetic parties imo. This lends itself to enemy PTOs and the situation we are currently in. Once again, that's just my opinion. The second is that we would basically give up the whole goofy role playing we are doing. At least for me, the only reason I have put any effort in getting this party going is to push a balance of role playing with practical game playing. Without the goofy aspect, I have no interest in putting in time to the party.
